  • upon picking each order will immediately be placed in separate boxes (sort-by-light)
  • ideal for smaller, lesser quantity order items, e.g. typical webshop orders
  • handles each picking tool separately (N boxed e-picking cart, shopping cart, pallet jack, small forklift, high-bay forklift)
  • handles transfers from back-up storage to manual storage during picking
  • the revision can be set to be done automatically, so the amount to be revised does not accumulate (usually a bottleneck)
  • once the picking is ready, all that’s left to do is packaging and invoicing

How does a WMS development project proceed?

1. Survey, data collection

Assessing your needs as accurately as possible. Comparing needs, capabilities (e.g. workflow, topology, industry specifics) and opportunities

2. Planning

The more precise the plan, the lower the risk of system implementation. The system plan is approved by a jury of both sides.

3. Ongoing consultations

There are always unforeseen factors during planning and development. It is advisable to clarify these as they arise.

4. Adaptation, integration, customization

During the software development phase, all changes are made to ensure the system is optimized for your company. You often refer back to the previous step for clarification.

5. Testing, implementation, training

After training the finished system, a thorough testing is important. The participation of your colleagues in the testing is very beneficial, as they see the processes from a slightly different perspective. The implementation takes place after successful tests.

6. Consistent support

Continuous support is necessary to keep a delivered system up to date. If you have an idea to increase efficiency, we will help you integrate it into the system.

The more interactive the collaboration, the better the quality of the result. It is advisable to expect a slightly more intensive time investment on your part in stages 1 (information transfer), 3 (clarification of working methods) and 5 (testing) in order to achieve better operational efficiency of the final result.
